Mrs. Vanessa Gonzales

REMEDIAL

Ms Gonzales has been at Dunross since 1990.  She became our Remedial Teacher in 1994 specializing in the Reading.  She also teachers Hand Writing Skills (penmanship) to our Primary One and Primary Two level classes.

Ms. Mieka Douglas

Language Arts Support/Spanish

As an experienced teacher, Mieka will bring her love of reading and writing to her new position as the Language Arts Support teacher in the upper school. Mieka will also be teaching Spanish in Primary One.

Ms. Elizabeth Lochan

COMPUTER TEACHER / IT TECH

Ms Lochan joined the staff in 2006.  She teaches computer skills for the Primary 1 to SEA 5 classes and is also part of the IT support team. Her love of teaching and computers has brought new and interesting ideas to the computer lab and school.

Ms. Sara Mohammed

TECH SUPPORT

Ms. Mohammed is responsible for the Media Lab and IT support.  She is also responsible for Library Skills in Primary One and Primary Two, as well as her other many duties, she is always willing to help where needed.

Mrs. Elizabeth Holder

LIBRARIAN

Mrs Holder has been associated with Dunross as a parent since 1978.  She began as a library volunteer in 1988 and is now in charge of the library.  Her 4 children all passed through Dunross.

Mr. Jesse Ryan

MUSIC TEACHER

Mr. Ryan is an accomplished musician and an experienced music teacher at the primary school level. He will be teaching all classes this year along with our new beginner’s pan group.

Mrs. Kerry Farah

SCIENCE TEACHER

Mrs Farah, a past student of Dunross, joined the staff as a part time teacher in 2007.  Her innovative ways of teaching science usually fascinates her students. 

Ms. Stacy Bachan

P.E.

Coach Stacy is a qualified football coach and has an unique knack for teaching physical education in creative ways that appeal to young children. Stacy will be teaching all the class levels throughout the school.
