The last week of Term 2 was a fun filled week as the students were involved in a number of activities; from practicing events for Sports Day to making a variety of exciting Easter crafts.

Infant 2E made scary Halloween ghosts in their art classes, to decorate their homes.  Here two of their students show their beautiful craft to the office staff.

Did you know that Halloween was started by immigrants from Europe who would celebrate the harvest around a bonfire, share ghost stories, sing, dance and tell fortunes?

Mrs Clarke and P1C made cookies in class, as a reinforcement comprehension lesson on main idea and supporting detail.

This was a fun hands on approach to develop better understanding about this concept.
